Disappointed once receiving our new underload bats it says that they are only supposed to be used with soft toss and hitting off the tee… So much for the “DURABLE one-piece alloy and composite constructions featuring reinforced barrels engineered for strength and durability” claim… Warranty is void if you use it off of a pitching machine. I wonder if that extends to hitting off a live arm BP or otherwise. If you want to use an underload bat in representative practice environments I’d recommend buying a drop -8 for half the price or more on Amazon. If you only plan on hitting off a tee or flips then maybe it’s worth it. Or if you want to spend a ton on foam training balls then maybe it’s worth it but if you’re someone on a budget this isn’t it. It’s not DURABLE if you can’t hit real baseballs more at real college or pro level speeds with it. The whole point of spending more on this product was that it would be more durable than the alternative…
If you don’t have the budget for a bunch of foam training balls I wouldn’t buy this product that isn’t designed to handle the impact of real baseballs thrown at game speed.
